Covid 19 Test Clinic UK Offering Reliable Coronavirus Test

Public health authorities in UK (PHE) and the NHS limit testing to just those in high-risk categories, therefore a private clinic is giving coronavirus tests to the general public and corporations at reasonable prices.

From Friday, the Covid 19 Test Clinic UK will offer Covid-19 testing to anybody who suspects they may be infected but does not meet PHE's requirements for testing.

The findings of the test, which includes nine other respiratory viruses, should be ready in five days, according to the clinic. Neither the PHE nor the clinic have authorised it, therefore it should only be used as "pre-screening," according to the Covid 19 Test Clinic UK.

When he was bombarded with requests from clients who had been denied testing by the NHS 111 hotline, the clinic's CEO and medical director, decided to provide private examinations.

Some firms have requested that the Covid 19 Test Clinic UK do tests on all of their employees, according to the CEO. Approximately 75 people and two to three large organisations, including a major consulting firm, have requested the test thus far, Ali stated on Friday. "We have the resources to carry out all of these experiments," says the scientist.

Coronavirus testing at PHE is reserved for travellers returning from high-risk countries like China or Italy, or for those who have been exposed to someone who has the virus.

Boris Johnson and the UK's top medical and scientific experts said at a news conference on Thursday that persons with minor symptoms will no longer be examined. Instead, people with the most severe symptoms will be evaluated in a hospital setting, and the NHS will shift its focus to those who are most in need.

With a daily capacity of 1,500, PHE is working toward a daily capacity of 10,000. PHE stated on Wednesday that it processes about 1,500 tests a day, with the vast majority of them being completed within 24 hours. As of March 10th, PHE had processed more than 25,000 tests and hadn't reached its capacity, according to the report.

For people who need to be hospitalised for pneumonia or another severe respiratory infection, PHE will prioritise testing for them, according to a spokesperson. Meanwhile, the agency will continue to look into outbreaks.

It has been recommended by the chief medical officer that persons who acquire symptoms but are otherwise healthy should not be checked. However, in order to safeguard the most vulnerable members of society, they should remain at home for a period of seven days as said the CEO of Covid 19 Test Clinic UK.

A blood test is being developed by PHE in collaboration with a number of commercial businesses to verify assays for usage. None of them, however, have been shown to be true to date.
